The wind orchestra of the Trakai Art School was founded in July 1975. Its founder is Aleksandras Čiupkovas. Since 1994 the orchestra has been conducted by Arvydas Mišeikis. In 2000 the orchestra was reorganized into the fanfare orchestra. 2005-2011 the conductor of the orchestra was Tadas Šileika, 2012-2015. – conductor Egidijus Miknius. Since 2016 Rokas Podelis has been the conductor of Trakai fanfare orchestra. Students, graduates and teachers of the Trakai Art School play in the orchestra. Over the years of its existence, the collective has trained many prominent musicians and music educators in the country and won the names of laureates and graduates in many national and foreign competitions of excellence. Concerts, competitions, festivals, summer creative camps – is the daily work with which the orchestra managers strive to enable the musicians to meet the needs of artistic activities as widely and diversely as possible, and to exchange good experiences with other artistic collectives.

Trakai fanfare orchestra participated at music festivals in Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Greece. He won laureates in the annual championships of Lithuanian orchestras (2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2021, 2022, 2023) and international competitions in Poland “Zlata Lyra” (2006), Latvia (2008). The biggest achievements are winning the “Golden Bird” in the nomination “Brightest Lithuanian Star” (2006), “Grand Prix” at the Lithuanian Orchestra Championship in Panevėžys (2009, 2010) and 3rd place at the Open Fanfare Orchestra Championship in the Netherlands (2013).
